The Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation is thrilled to present the 9th Annual Art Is Alive Festival, September 14–20, 2025! 🎉 This dynamic, multidisciplinary celebration honors over 25 years of our service to the Brooklyn community and the richness of African and African diasporic traditions.
For seven unforgettable days, immerse yourself in 20+ hours of programming featuring 10 unique dance classes with celebrated instructors, a high-energy block party with five music artists, and inspiring community awards, workshops, and family activities for all ages.
More than just a festival, Art Is Alive is a week of art, culture, and connection designed to uplift the creative spirit and strengthen our collective commitment to community. Best of all, the festival is FREE and open to everyone.
